JUMO CALC is designed to work with thermocouples and Platinum RTD temperature probes. These are special types of sensors used to measure temperatures in various applications.
Thermocouples come in different types. You can input the voltage produced by the thermocouple, and the app will give you the corresponding temperature. Or, you can enter a temperature, and the app will tell you what voltage to expect from the thermocouple. The app also provides information on the allowable ranges (tolerances) for each type of thermocouple.
The app also lets you calculate systematic temperature errors for 2-wire circuits, a common type of connection for these sensors. If you're using a transmitter to convert sensor readings into standard signals, the app can help with that too. It allows you to calculate the output signal based on a given temperature and vice versa.
